Each year at our in-person Grandparents' Day celebration, part of our assembly involves a tribute and salute to those Grandparents and Special Friends who have served in the Armed Forces. We are currently assembling a video salute that includes many photos that our parents and students submitted (if you would still like to add your name and upload a photo to be used in our video, please do so by Dec 1 by clicking this link and completing this form).
Meanwhile, please know that at FWC, we honor all the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. We salute you and thank you for your service!
On Veterans' Day on November 11th, as has been our tradition for many years, our students have participated in the City of North Richland Hills Veterans' Day Celebration. While the entire video lasts approximately 40 minutes, we invite you to watch two different groups of FWC students:
- (Start at 4:40) - The Upper School Choir sings the National Anthem
- (Start at 6:02) - Join some of our FWC 1st Graders in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance
