Endowment Giving

The Cardinal Education Foundation:

Total Endowment as of December 31, 2021: $1,113,896

The Cardinal Education Foundation is Fort Worth Christian School's endowment and impacts students now and for generations to come.  The endowment secures the long-term financial sustainability of the school, enabling mission-driven decisions to be made with visionary planning for academic excellence.  The endowment currently provides need-based scholarships and provided over $70,000 in scholarship support this school year.  FWC is seeking to grow need-based scholarship support as well as develop support for merit-based scholarships.  In addition, our goal is to receive endowed gifts for the school’s faculty fund to attract and retain outstanding teachers.

The corpus of endowed gifts is invested with an independent investment firm with the oversight of the school administration and foundation board.  The foundation distributes a percentage of the endowment earnings to the school to be used for the designated purpose of the endowed gift.

What is the impact of endowed gifts to Fort Worth Christian?

Provide an opportunity for students to:

  • experience Fort Worth Christian for possibly 14 years from Pre-kindergarten – 12th grade,
  • be known, loved, and valued, taught excellence in and out of the classroom, and empowered by a biblical worldview,
  • be equipped with a foundation for a lifetime of faith, service, and leadership for Christ.

Provide sustainable support to attract and retain outstanding teachers at FWC.

We welcome opportunities to partner with donors who want to invest in growing our endowment to impact the school for years to come and provide financial stability during fluctuations in enrollment and market demand.

Named endowments can be established with a minimum threshold gift of $50,000 payable over three to five years, while gifts of lesser amounts can be made to the school’s general endowment.
