Thank you for your interest in our capital giving projects.

  • Support our LOWER SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
    • We are excited to announce the construction of a new Lower School playground to begin later this month and be completed over the summer.  We are tremendously grateful for a recent leadership gift commitment for the playground capital project from an FWC family who wishes to remain anonymous. The lead gift is providing the primary funding along with other capital gifts received this school year.

    • The playground will be artificially turfed and have two play areas with shade structures and a new gaga ball pit with a shade structure.  One play area has equipment designed for kids ages 2-5 and the other is designed for kids ages 5-12.  The school is contracting with playground companies Whirlix and Landscape Structures. These companies specialize in providing playground design, age-appropriate products, playground safety surfacing, and shade systems that meet safety regulations and keep kids safe.

    • Future phases contingent upon fundraising include an artificial turf playing field and a turf area with FitCore equipment uniquely designed for physical education.

  • Support our LOWER & MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
    • We have plans for building a new lower school play area that has a playground for our PK-1st graders and a separate playground for our 2nd-5th graders.  It will have new basketball courts, a new gaga ball pit, and open play spaces.

    • In addition, we have a plan for an outdoor learning space for our middle school students and we are exploring additional outdoor learning spaces that will benefit students across our campus.

  • PROJECT STATUS:

    • Due to a recent generous gift for adding a much-needed drainage system, we can now move forward with raising lead gift support for continued improvements to the green space in the Lower and Middle school courtyard.

    • These plans include new playgrounds, play areas, and outdoor learning spaces for the Lower and Middle School students.
