At Fort Worth Christian, our mission is to ensure every student is known, loved, and valued, taught excellence in and out of the classroom, and empowered by a biblical worldview. COMMUNICATION

We know there's a lot happening at Fort Worth Christian, and we want to make it easy for you to stay informed. Throughout the school year, you'll receive regular communications designed to keep you connected to everything happening on campus.

Thursday – Cardinal Athletics Email
Each Thursday, families receive the Cardinal Athletics Email featuring game schedules, event information, ticket links, athletic announcements, highlights, and everything you need to support Cardinal Athletics.

Friday – Cardinal Communication Email
Every Friday, our weekly Cardinal Communication is delivered to your inbox. This newsletter includes campus-wide news, upcoming events, important reminders, celebrations, and links to each division's weekly newsletter for Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School updates.

Calendar
The calendar on the FWC website is our public-facing calendar and is a great place to find school-wide events, athletics, fine arts, and other general dates. Please note that details for internal events may be limited on the public calendar. For example, off-campus field trip locations or other student-specific details may not be listed publicly. Families can view additional event details through the calendar inside the Parent Portal.

FWC School App
The FWC School App puts important school information right at your fingertips. Use the app to access the school calendar, lunch menus, athletics schedules, livestreams, grades, school news, and more. We encourage every parent to download the app!

Remind
Many teachers, coaches, and school groups use Remind to send quick updates, reminders, schedule changes, and time-sensitive information. You'll receive instructions from your child's teachers and coaches on how to join the appropriate Remind classes and groups.

Athletics Calendar (Rank One)
While athletic events are included on the FWC website calendar, we recommend using the Rank One alerts for the most up-to-date schedules. Rank One allows families to subscribe to specific teams and receive notifications of schedule updates, postponements, cancellations, and other last-minute changes throughout the season.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology plays an important role in the Fort Worth Christian experience. Below are the primary platforms and resources your family will use throughout the school year.

Chromebook Pickup
All students in grades 6–12 will receive their Chromebook during New Student Orientation.

Family Portal
The Family Portal is your central hub for student information, including family accounts, grades, attendance, schedules, report cards, and the school directory. Our district code is FWC-TX.

Learning Management Systems
Middle and Upper School students use our Learning Management System (LMS) for assignments, coursework, and classroom resources. Lower School teachers utilize Google Classroom to communicate assignments and learning activities with students and families.

Linewize
Fort Worth Christian uses Linewize to help provide a safe and secure online learning environment. Parents are automatically enrolled to receive access to their child's technology activity and online usage through the Parent Portal, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

LUNCH AND CARDINAL STORE

From nutritious meals to school uniforms, these resources help prepare your family for each school day. Learn about SAGE Dining Services, including daily menus, nutrition information, and how to add funds to your student's dining account. You'll also find information about the Cardinal Store, your source for approved uniforms, spirit wear, and Cardinal merchandise.

SAGE Dining Services

Fort Worth Christian partners with SAGE Dining Services to provide fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals each school day. Families can view daily menus, nutrition information, and allergen details through the SAGE app and website. Whether your student brings lunch or purchases meals on campus, SAGE offers a variety of options to meet the needs of our students. Lunch payments are made through My Kids Spending.

The Cardinal Store

The Cardinal Store is your one-stop shop for Fort Worth Christian uniforms, spirit wear, outerwear, accessories, breakfast, or an after-school snack. Whether you're purchasing school uniforms, showing your Cardinal pride on spirit days, or picking up gifts for family and friends, the Cardinal Store has everything you need. Stop by to add funds to your student's accounts for easy checkout. Be sure to check the store's page and follow the Instagram.

Preschool

Uniform items must be purchased from the Cardinal Store unless otherwise noted. Khaki pants, shorts, and skorts may be purchased from any vendor, but must closely match the color and style of the traditional khaki offered by the Cardinal Store. Cargo pants, cargo shorts, and joggers are not permitted.

All uniform shorts, skirts/skorts, and dresses must be finger-tip length or longer when arms are placed at the side while standing. Please see the Parent and Student Handbook for additional guidelines.

Tops:	Red, black, or white polo with monogram Spirit shirt Please note: all students are required to have a red polo for special events.
Bottoms:	Pull-on elastic shorts, pants, or skort in khaki, white, black, or red
Girls Dresses:	Red or black polo dress with monogram Plaid jumper with white Peter Pan collared shirt
Shoes & Socks:	Socks: white, black, or red Athletic shoes or boots are permitted. Crocs, Birkenstocks, flip-flops, slides, house slippers, and shoes without backs are not permitted.

At Fort Worth Christian, athletics are about more than competition - they're an extension of our mission to develop students who honor Christ in every area of life. Whether you're cheering from the stands or competing in a Cardinal uniform, you'll experience a culture that values teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to glorifying God in all we do.

TAPPS TMS

To be eligible to play, all student-athletes must have a current physical on file and their TAPPS account fully completed before their first competition of the season. TAPPS Management System (TMS) houses all your student-athlete’s eligibility and standings for Fort Worth Christian.

ATHLETES – Do This First

Go to tms.tapps.biz on a desktop or download the free TAPPS TMS app.*
* Already have an account? Just log in and accept the AOR for the school year.
New students only:
- Enter your school email, click "Forgot Password" to get a one-time password (OTP) email.
- Use the OTP to log in and set a new password.
Once logged in:
- Go to your Profile.
- Fill in your Emergency Contact and 1 Guardian (you’ll need their name, email, and phone number).
- Answer the 3 questions.
- Click on "Acknowledgment of Rules (AOR)" and hit SAVE.
Let your parent/guardian know you’ve finished, so they can do their part next!

PARENTS/GUARDIANS – Do This After Your Student

Go to tms.tapps.biz on a desktop or download the TAPPS TMS app.*
Use the same email your student entered for you in their profile.
Click "Forgot Password" to receive a one-time password (OTP) email.
Log in using the OTP, set your new password.
Complete your Profile (if needed).
Click on the "Acknowledgment of Rules (AOR)" and hit SAVE.

* Already have an account? Just log in and accept the AOR for each student linked to you.
