Micheal (Mike) Kumor, a 1973 graduate of FWC, attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Michael graduated in 1981.
Michael currently lives in Wichita Falls and is married to his wife, Terry. They have two children, Anna Rose Kumor Gililland and Louis Andrew Kumor (Andy). Michael and Terry also have one grandson, James Riley Kumor (Riley).
Michael attends Faith Village Church of Christ in Wichita Falls.

FWC ALUM Q&A LIGHTNING ROUND:
When you think back on your time at FWC, what did you love most about Fort Worth Christian?
FWC's Christian atmosphere with small class sizes. I loved the Christian education.
Describe one of your favorite teachers:
Coach Robert Finley. Basketball/Cross-Country Coach and Teacher. He taught me much about teamwork and how it affects life in general.
Describe one of your favorite memories at FWC.
I was "Mr. Fort Worth Christian" nominee. Also, I was District Cross-Country champion in its' first year as a sport as well as Conference Cross-Country Champion. I was also MVP in Basketball in 1973.
In what ways did FWC help you grow in your faith or help you establish a solid spiritual foundation?
My baptism during my senior year at College Hill Church of Christ across the street from campus.
What sets FWC apart?
School recognition and everybody knows you.
FWC also empowers students for being leaders. In what way did Fort Worth Christian equip you?
I was elected president of the senior class of 1973 and was looked up to by my peers. Later I was a head coach and a mentor. Later, I was elected Mayor of my city after retirement.
Celebrate your success: list any accomplishment/award or any way you are serving, or any other way you bring honor to God in your life after FWC.
In addition to being Mayor, I was a deacon of the church in Henrietta Texas for a short time before I moved into Wichita Falls.
Do you have any words of advice for a family considering FWC?
Fort Worth Christian is a school that is safe to go to and has the best Christian education in the city. There's more to a school than what's in a textbook. FWC is Christian education for life!
