The goal of our Golf Program at FWC is to encourage students to pursue a passion for excellence: excellence in the classroom, on the golf course, in their spiritual development, and in every aspect of their life. In our golf program, we emphasize excellence through continuous improvement and perseverance in everything we do, every day. As Paul Stankowski, PGA golfer has said, “Focus on the process and the result will take care of itself”.
Our Cardinal golf teams have a solid legacy of accomplishments on and off the golf course; most recently with teams in the state finals, the past 8 years. We presently have 3 FWC graduates playing collegiate golf and will be adding more to that list in the next few years. In 2019, our Girls Team became the first FWC girls’ team to capture the TAPPS 5A State Golf Championship. And in 2022, one of our girls became the first FWC girl to be crowned the TAPPS 5A State Individual Championship.
