The purpose of this class is to provide musical direction for the student gifted in vocal music. Students are prepared for performances and opportunities to “shine.” Students from the class will compete in the vocal music division of TAPPS in the spring. Some time is spent working on increasing the ability of the student to learn to sight-read. Both Classical and Modern music is reviewed and performed. An introduction to Music History is also presented.
