FWC relies on the generosity of parents, grandparents, alumni and friends to support the school with needs that exceed those covered by tuition. Your participation and support matter most!
A high percentage of participation not only directly affects the operating budget, but also allows FWC to seek additional funding from foundations and corporations.

The future of FWC depends on the generous support of friends, family, and alumni. Facility upgrades, expanded curricular offerings, and other special projects are not possible without the support of significant donations. Major gifts allow the school to promote excellence and to attract and retain the most capable and brightest students and faculty.
Gifts to Endowment
The Board of Trustees created the Cardinal Education Foundation in 2009, with its purpose to provide financial support benefiting the students of Fort Worth Christian School. Individuals, groups, and businesses may contribute gifts of cash, stocks, or sellable assets to the Foundation. The staff of FWC may apply for grants (from the Foundation) for special programs and student needs. The Foundation's Board of Trustees oversees the expenditure of funds from the Foundation. An endowment is an independent school’s savings account that provides a reliable source of income in perpetuity.
The foundation grants help supplement needs through the following avenues:
Capital building projects
Special programs and student needs
Scholarships help FWC’s commitment to meet the full financial need of all students. Named endowed scholarships are a meaningful way to leave a legacy, remember a loved one, or honor a favorite teacher. The following scholarships have been established:
Paul Roscoe Scholarship Fund
Connor Gage Scholarship Fund
Single Parent Scholarship Fund
General Scholarship Fund
Fort Worth Christian School encourages and appreciates estate gifts. Bequests are the most common way for donors to make their ultimate gift to the school. If you are interested in learning more about estate planning, we are grateful for the opportunity to visit with you as you make these important decisions for you and your family.
Securities, Property, Real Estate
Gifts of Appreciated Securities, Stocks, and Bonds provide considerable tax advantages when transferred to FWC. Please contact us for more information.
Many employers match gifts made by their current, as well as retired, employees. This is a simple way to double - and sometimes even triple - your gift to FWC. Contact your employer or human resources office for instructions on how to match your gift to the school.
Gifts made in honor of a loved one, is a wonderful way to express accolades for a special event in someone’s life. Memorial gifts provide a special way to express condolences to a loved one experiencing loss. Honor and memorial donations are a heart-felt way to bless someone while benefiting the school at the same time.
You may wish to earmark your gift for a specific area of the school. We will be happy to designate your gift toward a specific division, program or project.
