ES/MS Soccer Camp
5/29-6/1, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Kids interested in soccer will be taught dribbling, passing and shooting in a fun camp led by the HS coaches and varsity athletes. Athletes will be split up according to age and ability and the camp always ends with a huge water balloon fight!

HS Girls Soccer Camp
5/29-6/1, 9:00 am - 10:30 am
HS soccer players planning on playing varsity soccer in the HS will spend a week training, getting to know the other players and preparing for summer indoor league.

HS Boys Soccer Camp

HS athletes planning on playing varsity soccer will spend a week getting to know the team, practicing and preparing for summer indoor league play.

ES Baseball Camp

The purpose of this camp is to further help with the overall development of baseball players at a wide range of skill, experience, and age. Beginners and experienced baseball players are welcome from any school/program. Players will be assessed at the beginning of camp, and then taught accordingly in the areas of hitting, pitching, fielding, and baserunning.

MS & HS Baseball Camp

This is a training approach used to benefit athletes in all areas of competition such as volleyball, soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball, cheerleading, tennis, golf, track, swimming, and cross country. The overall goal is to help our athletes become faster, quicker, and stronger so they can reach their potentials in their individual sports.

Develop foundational skills necessary for football, as well as character development and leadership skills. Coaches will teach you to become the best football player you can be. Each camper will learn Offense, Defense, and Special Teams.

The Fundamentals Camp will focus on development and improvement of skills. Fundamental development in the areas of ball handling, dribbling, passing and shooting will be the focus of the camp.

MS Boys Basketball Camp

The intensive skills and competition camp will focus on development and improvement of skills. The camp will also introduce participants to the Cardinal Basketball Program. Future Cardinal Basketball players are strongly encouraged to attend.

Watercolor Painting
6/4-6/8, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
In this class, students entering 6th through 8th grade will be introduced to watercolor painting. They will explore color theory, and many of the techniques and tricks used to paint their own watercolor painting.

Drawing & Painting in Oil Pastels
6/11-6/15, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
In this course, students will learn important rules of applying paint, pencil, and pastel to a work of art. Once they employ these techniques, their art work will improve vastly. We will create a work using oil pastel, and will explore other media if time allows.

Clay Building & Glass Fusion
6/4-6/8, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
In this camp, students will learn clay hand building techniques and basic kiln formed glass fusion. Because clay requires a significant time to dry, please understand some of the art will have to picked up at a future date.

Tessellation and Perspective
6/11-6/15, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Students will learn One-Point and two Point Perspective. They will also create an original tessellation while becoming familiar with the art of M.C. Escher.

Rock Band Camp
7/9-7/12, 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Designed for students who have basic music skills in guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, vocals to get together and play together and further progress in their skills.

Freshman Writing Camp
7/23-7/26, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Participants in this camp will practice their writing skills in preparation for freshman English. Participants should be entering 9th grade next year.

Cardinal Band Camp I

This camp is required of all 2018-2019 Band & Color Guard members grades 7-12. Camp covers the introduction and review of Marching Fundamentals in preparation for the Fall Marching Season.

Cardinal Band Camp II

This Band Camp is REQUIRED for all FWC students intending to be a part of the Cardinal Band Program and/or Cardinal Color Guard in grades 7-12 for the 2018-2019 school year. Each day will consist of (3) rehearsals total (except Wednesday - no evening rehearsal). We will be implementing our Fall Marching Show.

LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Camp (4th - 8th)

Students will build and program robots using Lego Mindstorms. They will program their robots to accomplish certain tasks each day, using touch, sight and hearing to make their robots move.

Video Game Design (4th - 8th)

Students will learn how to program and design their own Video games using Scratch.

VEX IQ Robotics Camp (4th-6th)

Do you enjoy anything that operates with a remote?? Then this camp is for you! This camp is for any child going into 4th and 5th grade and interested in robotics! Students interested in being a part of the 2018-2019 Elementary Robotics Club are not going to want to miss this! We will be learning how to build and operate Vex Robots, practice our driving skills and compete against one another on a regulation Vex Field!

Come discover, experiment, and create as we learn about the colliding worlds of art and science in this STEAM-based camp. We will create biomes from around the world, star gaze at constellations, master meteorology, investigate how things work and dabble in chemistry and physics. Garden to Spoon

Let’s get our hands dirty as we learn about gardening and food! Garden with us by making take home garden boxes with a variety of herbs and other accessories for your garden. Super Sleuths

Get out your magnifying glasses and detective hat as we have clues to decipher and crimes to solve. We’ll put our critical thinking skills and STEM knowledge to the test and get to the bottom of mysteries by learning the tricks real investigators use to solve cases. While experimenting with simple detection techniques, your reasoning skills will grow and your problem solving skills will become better than CSI agents.

Whiz Kids

WinShape Camps are affiliated with Chick-Fil-Aand provide an unprecedented day camp experience for campers that have completed grades 1-9. Whether you like soccer, science, or anything in between, there is something for everyone at WinShape Camps! Come be a part of this incredible adventure where we combine sports, recreation, arts, Bible study and worship into one incredible week. The camp is sponsored by Alliance Christian Fellowship but hosted on-site by Heritage Church of Christ off Heritage Trace Parkway near Alliance Town Center in Keller. FWC is excited to partner with this camp for the first time and look forward to possibly having WinShape Camp on our campus in future years!

If you need to cancel your registration, this must be done seven days prior to the first day of camp. No refund will be given for an enrolled student that does not show up for a camp without communication seven days before camp begins.
