Golf State (4/26-27)
Evan Yancy and Kaden Walters represented Fort Worth Christian in the TAPPS 4A State Golf Tournament on April 26-27. The 36-hole tournament was played at the Courses of Clear Creek in Killeen. They both finished in the top 20.
Yancy posted an 83-82, for a 2-day total of 165. Walters scored an 84-83, for a 2-day total of 167. This was Yancy's last tournament as a Cardinal because he will be graduating in May. Walters is a junior.

Golf District (3/29-30)
The varsity boys' and girls' golf teams played in the District 1-4A championship on Monday and Tuesday, March 29 and 20. The girls' team finished in 3rd place and will play in the regional tournament. Team members include Brenda Szwejbka, Alex Edwards, Codi Amason, and Britt Blair.
From the boy's team, Kaden Walters and Evan Yancy advanced to the regionals as individuals.

JV Boys' Golf at Haltom HS Invitational (3/23)
The junior varsity boys' golf team competed in the Haltom High School Invitational on Tuesday, March 23. The team won second place with a score of 353. Austin Todd led the Cardinals with an 84, and Alex Bradley was close behind with an 85. Other team members were Aaron Hedrick (92), Tommy Collins (92), and Austin Collard (93).

Varsity boys' golf at Glen Rose (3/4)
The varsity boys' golf team played in the Glen Rose Classic on Thursday, March 4. The team finished in 6th place. Evan Yancy led the team with a 75, which gave him 5th place honors.

Varsity boys' golf (2/24)
The varsity boys' golf team competed in the Keller Classic at Sky Creek Ranch on Wednesday, February 24. Kaden Walters led the Cardinals with a 75-40 in the 27 hole tournament. That earned him 5th place overall. The team finished in 2nd place in the consolation flight.

Golf Regional (4/6)
Two Cardinal golfers have advanced to the state tournament. Kaden Walters shot a 76 at the regional tournament at Hollytree Country Club in Tyler to finish in 3rd place. Evan Yancy also qualified for state by shooting an 83. He finished in a 3-way tie for the 10th and final spot. Yancy sank a 7 foot putt on the first playoff hole to earn his spot. The state tournament will be played on April 26-27 at the Courses of Clear Creek in Killeen.
The girls golf team also competed in the regional tournament in Tyler. Those playing were Alex Edwards, Codi Amason, Britt Blair, and Brenda Szwejbka. They finished in 6th place and will not advance to state.

Varsity Boys' and Girls' Golf at Richland Rebel Invitational (3/22)
The varsity boys' and girls' golf teams recently played in the Richland Rebel Invitational at Iron Horse on Monday, March 22. The boys team shot a 341. Kaden Walters led the Cards with an 82. Colby Hatchett was close behind with an 84. Other team members were David Truitt (91), Kris Bradley (89), and Evan Yancy (86).
Brenda Szwejbka and Codi Amason represented FWC by shooting a 122 and a 147 respectively.

Varsity boys' and girls' golf at Haltom Invitational (3/10)
The varsity boys and girls competed in the Haltom Invitational at Iron Horse Golf Course on Wednesday, March 10. The varsity boys won the tournament with a team score of 311. Kaden Walters led the Cardinals with a round of 70. He was the individual tournament champion. Others playing were Evan Yancy (76), Kris Bradley (79), David Truitt (86), and Colby Hatchett (93).

JV boys' golf (2/27)
The junior varsity boys' golf team played in the Northwest Invitational at Willow Springs on Thursday, February 25. Kris Bradley shot a 79 and was the tournament champion. The team shot a 339 to finish in 3rd place. David Truitt scored an 88, Alex Bradley 86, and Tommy Collins 86.
