HS Cross Country at Greenhill Relays (8/28)
The FWC Cardinal cross country team opened the season in Dallas at the Greenhill Relays on Saturday, August 28. It was a 6-mile relay, with each team member running 1.5 miles. The varsity boys A team ran a strong race and finished in the 6th place. Team members were Nathan Parish, Austin Cotton, Adam Stefkovich, and Riley Davis.
The varsity boys B team finished in 31st place. Team members included Tyler Hair, Colin Grimes, Toly Stefkovich, and Jon Harder. Running in the JV division were Kyle Nickols, Sheldon Hair, Riley Gage, Richard Tharp, Eric Stalee, Joshua Im, and Tyler Tandy.
The varsity girls team finished in 33rd place. Team members were Allison Wagner, Serena Lewis, Kinsey Starks, and Alex Yarrito. Running in the JV girls division were Mallory Rogers and Andrea Halek.

HS Cross Country at Burleson Elk Run (9/3)
The Cardinal cross country team had a great day at the Burleson Elk Run on September 3. The varsity boys team finished in second place in the UIL 4A-and-under division. Placing in the top ten were Nathan Parish (5th), Austin Cotton (7th), and Adam Stefkovich (9th). Also running on the varsity were Jon Harder (29th), Sheldon Hair, Tyler Hair, Riley Davis (41st), and Kyle Nickols.
The JV boys were led by Richard Tharp and Riley Gage who both finished in the top 20.
The varsity girls finished in 23rd place led by Tiffany Van Hoose (35th). Also running for the girls were Allison Wagner, Kinsey Starks, Alex Yarrito, Serena Lewis, Mallory Rogers, and Andrea Halek
