In summary, athletic trainers are licensed medical professionals who specialize in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. In order to provide the best quality care to our student athletes, a team of professionals have been constructed to satisfy this need. The sports medicine team here at FWC consists of team physicians, athletic trainers, on-campus nurses, physical therapists, coaches, and student athletic trainers. Most importantly, cooperation from the athlete and his/her parents enables the opportunity to provide good quality care.
 Trinity Orthopedics is recognized as the official medical provider for Fort Worth Christian School’s athletic programs, their main office is located just 10 minutes away from the school’s campus. Dr. Nicholas Igalli serves as our head team physician and is a fellowship trained-sports medicine orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Igalli is capable of providing services such as injury evaluation, sports medicine coverage, athletic physicals, physical therapy, imaging, and orthopedic surgery. Special arrangements have been developed with the offices of Trinity Orthopedics that will allow our student athletes to be examined in a timely manner. ImPact Concussion Management:
All FWC high school students who participate in football, basketball, soccer, or cheerleading must complete a baseline ImPact test with the head athletic trainer prior to their competitive seasons. Click here for more details.
