Thank you for your interest in Fort Worth Christian Middle School. We are proud to say that we are a school that provides an opportunity for the students and teachers to work together in a safe environment where every child can grow spiritually, socially and academically. We believe it is important that every child is in a nurturing environment while given the opportunity to accept increasing amounts of responsibility. We challenge the students to become organized, independent, cooperative and successful in and out of the classroom. It is important that education is a cooperative effort between home and school. We believe students excel when there is active communication among students, teachers, and parents. At FWC, we strive to find an effective balance between parental/staff guidance and growing student independence.
In middle school, we offer core courses that include Bible, mathematics, science, history, and English. The students may begin participating in athletics in 7th grade. The athletic program includes football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, track, and cross country. Electives are available in band, strings, chorus, home economics, arts, Spanish, speech and drama, computer, and animal science. The 8th graders have the opportunity to receive high school credit by taking Algebra I, IPC, Spanish I or Latin I.
We welcome the opportunity to work with your family and invite you to visit us by scheduling a campus tour. Feel free to call me at 817.520.6502 if you have any questions.
