Please follow these steps to complete the process for application to FWC:
1. Contact Kelly Cantrell, Admissions Director. Set up a time to come in for information gathering, get a packet of information, and tour our campus.
2. Collect the following data/documents for our files:
- Three reference forms filled out by the following: current school math teacher and English teacher and a teacher of your choice.
- Unofficial/official transcript from all schools attended.
- Past two years achievement test scores.
- Report cards from the past two years.
- Immunization records.
All of these materials must be received by the school counselor prior to scheduling the entrance exam.
3. Schedule entrance exam with Barbara Yeargin, middle school counselor. At the time of testing, a payment of $75.00 testing fee will be assessed.
4. Parents will receive a phone call from Beth Riley, Principal, to set a time
to review the test scores with family. Any concerns or obstacles to the process
will be discussed at this time, and a time for student to “shadow” or visit for
one day of classes will be set.
5. When admission is approved, student will schedule meeting with counselor to select courses. At this time, contract must be completed and entered into our computer system. Registration fee of $500.00 is due at this time.
Counselor will make best effort to introduce the student to all of their new teachers prior to their first day of school.
