Please follow these steps to complete the process for application to FWC:
- Contact Kelly Cantrell, Admissions Director. Set up a time to come in for information gathering, get a packet of information, and tour our campus.
- Set up a time to have the student “shadow” or visit for a day of classes.
- Collect the following data/documents for our files:
- Four reference forms filled out by the following: current school principal/counselor; current school math teacher and English teacher; a minister/youth minister.
- Unofficial/official transcript from all schools attended
- Most recent achievement test scores
- Last report card and/or withdrawal grades
- Immunization records
4. All of these materials must be received by the admissions director
prior to scheduling of entrance exam.
- Schedule interview and entrance exam, with Janet Carter, high school counselor.
- At time of testing, payment of $75.00 testing fee. Scores will be available immediately after testing is finished. Scores will be reviewed with student and family.
- File will then be reviewed at this point. Parents will be contacted regarding desire on their part or FWC’s part to continue with application process. Any concerns or obstacles to the process will be discussed at this time.
- If it is clear that all parties want to proceed, Parents/Guardians will call FWC front office to schedule an appointment with Mr. Brian Miller, high school principal.
- If admission is approved, student will schedule meeting with counselor to select courses. At this time, contract must be completed and entered into our computer system. Registration fee of $500.00 is due at this time.
- Counselor will make best effort to introduce the student to all of their new teachers prior to their first day of school.
