More than four decades have passed since Fort Worth Christian School opened its doors to welcome the first student body in the fall of 1958. In its first fifty years, FWC has undergone a steady growth in enrollment, and in the development of academics, athletics, and extracurricular programs.
We are well into the twenty-first century and with renewed resolve, we want to foster in each student a love of learning and the determination to put the Lord first in all that we do. Academic excellence at FWC begins in the Elementary School as students receive a crucial foundation for the college preparatory courses that they will take in the upper schools. During these crucial first years, students will learn a unique set of skills upon which lifelong learning may occur.
Early Childhood and Elementary certified teachers at FWC accept the responsibility of introducing the spiritual and academic excellence that will be a part of students' lives for years to come. They are experienced, effective educators who are committed to the Lord.
Please take time to come and visit this warm and friendly place where academic excellence and a spiritual focus join hands in the development of tomorrow's leaders. Come and see for yourself a place where students are viewed as total beings - physical, social, spiritual, and intellectual. Like a good book, at FWC, you can't wait to turn the page to find out what happens next!
