Format for Open Forum with Board of Trustees - The Board of Trustees wishes to have an open line of communication with our FWC families. In order to help facilitate this we will begin having an open forum before our quarterly board meetings. We hope this will allow us to have a better and more informed relationship with our constituents. The procedures for the open forum will be as follows:

  1. Have an open forum for 30 minutes before the official FWC board meeting starts (6:30-7:00 p.m. in most cases) for interested parties to make presentations to the Board of Trustees.
  2. Parties who wish to attend and speak need to contact the school president and board chairman by written request or e-mail at least five days prior to the board meeting detailing what their intended topic is. The president and chairman will determine if this is an issue that can be brought before the board or if it needs to be handled through other channels.
  3. Each approved party will be given 5-10 minutes to speak and for the board to ask questions. However, the board will not give responses or render decisions at that time.
  4. If multiple parties wish to make presentations on the same topic a spokesman should speak for the group.
  5. The board will discuss the presented topics during the regular meeting and provide a written reply within one week of the meeting date. This reply will include any further decisions, actions or inactions that the board will be taking on each presented topic.
  6. Anyone wishing to receive a copy of the board's written reply will need to sign a request list at the open forum.

Board meetings are held in the library of the high school.
